About
Dock No. 4 (built in 1961 in Gothenburg) was purchased by Damen Shiprepair Vlissingen in 2016. Due to the presence of hazardous materials, some spaces in the dock were inaccessible, preventing the Vlissingen dock from being operational. KOOLE transported, dismantled and recycled dock No. 4. The dock weighed 9625T and was dismantled in a safe and circular manner within a time frame of +/- 22 weeks.
