Volharding 1
About
The Volharding 1 weighing 1,400t was built in 1929 as a steam tug to tow barges without engines to their destinations. Since the 1970s, she was a museum ship. In Q3 2020, DECOM Amsterdam was awarded the contract for the green recycling of the Volharding 1. DECOM transported, handled, dismantled and recycled the asset in an environmentally friendly and safe manner.
