THE PROCESS

How do we work?

At DECOM Amsterdam, maritime objects are dismantled in a circular and environmentally friendly manner.

ASSESSMENT OF THE MARITIME OBJECT

Once a maritime object has reached the end of its useful life, DECOM would be happy to assist with dismantling it in an environmentally friendly manner. To be able to offer the owner of the object a competitive quotation, it is important that all relevant information related to the maritime object is made available.

TRANSPARENT TENDERING

Once the relevant information for the maritime object has been assessed, Team DECOM is able to prepare an appropriate, no-obligation quotation within a few days for the complete disassembly and recycling of the object.

TRANSPORT PLANNING

If agreement is reached, an action plan will be prepared in consultation with the owner of the object. This contains agreements related to the transport of the object. This action plan states how the object is to be transported. DECOM Amsterdam is able to handle the transport of any maritime object.

DISMANTLING AND COMPLETION

Once the maritime object arrives, DECOM will begin removing all harmful substances. The object will then be fully dismantled and transported to certified processing companies. Once the entire ship has been dismantled, a final report is prepared. This contains all mandatory documents. A copy of this final report is sent to the client.
